Research and documentation
The work on research and documentation, drawing up of reports and research into Salvador Dalí’s technique take as their objective an ongoing enrichment of the database on his artistic procedures, as well as providing technical support to other Foundation departments and services and attending to the various outside requests received. The department is currently engaged in various research projects in which it is assisted mainly by the scientific laboratories of the Conservation and Restoration and Engraving Departments of the University of Barcelona, as well as other institutions such as Madrid’s Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
