News. Jimmy Carter visits the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres

On Friday 2nd of July, Jimmy Carter and some members of his family visited the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, accompanied by Ramon Boixadós, President of the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí and Montse Aguer, Director of the Centre of Dalinian Studies.

After their visit of one hour and a half, the former President of the United States told that he was more impressed than what he expected, and that he considers himself a great admirer of Salvador Dalí.

For the last two weeks, the Dalí Theatre-Museum has received three more illustrious visits: on June 16 the Ambassador of the United States, Alan Solomont, and his wife; on June 18, the International PEN accompanied by  Professor Josep Maria Terricabras (International PEN is a prestigious association of writers from around the world, founded in London in 1921, of which Catalan PEN began to form part the following year of its foundation).One of the four committes of the PEN came, particularly the Translations and Linguistic Rights one. And finally on June 29 the president of Interpol, Khoo Boon Hui, his wife and the Chief of the Interpol Cabinet in Europe.
