News. Public Notice regarding the recent announcement of an exhibition entitled “Into the Surreal World of Dali” in Hong Kong

To All Interested Parties,

Regarding the recent announcement of an exhibition entitled "Into the Surreal World of Dali" to be held at CheerBell Gallery Hong Kong, the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dali wants to make the following statements of clarification:

  • The exhibition in question, including all artwork, promotion, and display of images has involved no connection, consultation, or affiliation with the Dali Foundation, and any statements to the contrary are false and misleading. The Foundation cannot guarantee the authorship by Dalí of the artwork displayed nor its originality.
  • From images provided in promotional materials and public statements, this exhibition and its advertising appear to be in contravention of the lawful rights the Dalí Foundation manages. The Dali Foundation and its lawyers will be monitoring the exhibition closely and taking any necessary legal actions to protect the rights and legacy of Dali.

As the sole and legitimate manager and protector of Dali's legacy, including intellectual property and commercial rights, the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dali takes all matters regarding the display and promotion of Dali's legacy with great seriousness, and invites any interested parties to reach us at the contact number below:
