Observations

In decorating the Castle of Púbol, Salvador Dalí took advantage of various original features of the building. Here we can identify roses, one of Gala’s favourite flowers, present in the gardens of the Castle; a geometrical figure depicting the book De Divina Proportione (1496-97) by Luca Pacioli (1445-1510), with drawings by Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), and a blue castle which may be a reference to the coat of arms of Cadaqués.
