The documentary collection

It is one of the most important documentation centers internationally in relation to Dalí’s work, Surrealism, and the avant-garde in general. The richness of its collection is measured not only by the number of documents but also by their significance and variety.
It is composed of 11,711 books, 696 manuscripts, 10,412 letters, postcards, telegrams, and other epistolary documents, 23,798 photographs, 965 audiovisual and sound documents, 7,696 magazines, 73,368 national and international articles, 8,046 ephemeral documents, 1,739 postcards, and 732 posters.
