News. Dalí retrospective in Madrid successfully closed

Madrid, 3 September 2013

2nd September was the last day of major retrospective entitled Dalí. All poetic suggestions and artistic possibilities that could be seen in the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid since 27th April. It received more than 732,000 visitors. The exhibition came from the Centre Pompidou in Paris, with 790 090 visitors. Thus, it has become one of the most visited temporary exhibitions of the French museum, only after the show dedicated to Dalí in life and is also the most seen show of the Spanish capital of all times.

The Fundació Dalí acknowledges the fact that the show has welcome so many people, not only specialized audience but also people of all generations and nationalities. The institution has taken this opportunity to show the artist from a most comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective, offering visitors the opportunity to get to know the artist’s creation, languages, inspirations and obsessions.
