OPENING TIMES AND ACCESS RULESGeneral informationOpening times
Access rulesThe Studies Centre is open to researchers, postgraduates writing their doctoral theses and undergraduates in the second cycle of their courses, subject to accreditation. Accreditation consists in a letter outlining the reason for the research and specifying the documents required for consultation. We likewise request a document from the thesis director confirming that research work is being undertaken. Letters should be sent to: Montse Aguer Directora del Centre d’ Estudis Dalinians Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí Torre Galatea Pujada del Castell, 28 E-17600 Figueres Access to the library will always be by prior appointment, made at least three days prior to the intended visiting day. Appointments can be made by e-mail at ced at dali-estate.org or by ringing 972 67 75 14, but must be confirmed by CED staff. The materials to be consulted must always be requested from library staff, for visitors may not remove books directly from the shelves. Express permission from the Centre management must be obtained in order to gain access to the manuscripts and certain photographs. Photocopies can be obtained, but can only be taken by CED staff. There is a charge of €0.20 (A4) and €0.30 (A3) for black and white, and €0.30 (A4) and €0.40 (A3) for colour. Copyright laws must be adhered to with photocopiable materials. For reasons of conservation, the library reserves the right to decide which materials are too rare or fragile to be photocopied, and under no circumstances may the manuscripts and correspondence be photocopied. |
