The programme
The Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí (FGSD) created the Dali Fellowship Programme to, among other things, promote research on the work and thought of Salvador Dalí, forge partnerships with renowned universities and institutions, and foster the exchange of knowledge through researchers and scholars of the artist.
This year, 2026, marks the first Dalí Fellowship Programme call for applications. Under the programme, two individual fellowships will be awarded to researchers and scholars to conduct research projects, preferably in the following thematic areas:
- Dalí, architecture and set design.
- Performative Dalí.
- Dalí and science.
- Dalí and material culture.
- Dalí and fashion.
- Echoes of Dalí in contemporary art.
The Fellowship Programme offers the selected recipients the opportunity to conduct their research at the FGSD headquarters in Figueres, right next to the Dalí Theatre-Museum. Among other benefits, fellows will have special access to the FGSD’s documentary, bibliographic, and digital resources and databases, supervised guidance from an FGSD specialist in the project’s field, a workspace at the FGSD headquarters, and accommodation facilities.
We look forward to receiving your research proposal, which will be evaluated based on its quality, originality, and innovative nature in the aforementioned fields.
