Visit the new exhibition Dalí and the Optical Illusions
The exhibition Dalí and the Optical Illusions, inaugurated last March, brings together eleven works from the Teatre-Museu’s permanent collection in which Salvador Dalí experiments with techniques that create optical illusions, such as stereoscopy, anaglyphs, and holograms. The exhibition highlights the artist’s desire to explore new forms of representation based on scientific and technological advances, with the aim of questioning the perception of reality. It illustrates a key period in the career of the Empordà-born genius, particularly intense in the 1970s, coinciding with the creation of the museum.

Immerse yourself in the Teatre-Museu Dalí through an experience that invites you to look calmly and curiously, beyond what is visible at first glance.
We propose a dynamic and participatory approach to two of the most emblematic works of the Teatre-Museu Dalí: the Palace of the Wind and the Labyrinth. An activity designed for visitors to discover symbols, hidden details, and the sensations they evoke. A different experience, where observing, questioning, and exploring are essential.
Throughout the visit, the artwork becomes a space for shared conversation and discovery, where each perspective brings nuance and each interpretation expands the narrative. Ideas are built collectively, encouraging dialogue, personal expression, and respect for diverse viewpoints. A proposal to experience the museum in a new way.
