Similar in theme and technique to Estudi de nu femení en repòs (OG 001), this work was drypoint etched on celluloid, a technique Dalí employed extensively in the mid-1920s. This is evidenced by the numerous illustrations and commissions he produced during this period, many of which were published in various magazines in Spain.
