Cadaqués, August 2014
The director of the Dalí Theatre-Museum, the painter Antoni Pitxot, has a temporary exhibition in Cadaqués, at Iturria Gallery. The show's title is "Un delirio ultralocal" and can be seen until 4th September. It opened on 17th August and contains oil paintings and drawings from 1994 to the present day.

Portlligat, 6 June 2014
The Dalí Foundation opened a new area available for the public in Salvador Dalí's house of Portlligat (Cadaqués). It consists of 2.400 m² of olive gardens with a view over Portlligat Bay that includes the old garage where the Dalís used to park their cadillac. This small building is now a multipurpose hall where visitors can see audiovisuals on Salvador Dalí.

The Salvador Dalí exhibition is the largest anthological exhibition of the artist's work ever held in the country. It includes a total amount of 220 pieces: 164 works of art and 56 documents. The Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí presented the fourth section of the catalogue raisonné of paintings by Salvador Dalí, covering the period 1952-1964. This new digital publication that includes 758 artworks in total, is a continuation of the project of cataloguing the artist's work that was initiated in 2004.

The Dalí Museum in Saint Petersburg, Florida, has been included in the list of awarded by the Catalan Government with the National Culture Prize 2014. It has been given this award because of its important dissemination task of Dalí's work abroad and the Catalan art in general.

The headquarters of the Vila Casas Foundation in Barcelona, known as Can Framis, shows 26 works by Antoni Pitxot, director of the Dalí Theatre-Museum, which can be seen until 20th July. It is a retrospective of his 50 years of artistic life, commissioned by Gloria Bosch and entitled "La memòria i el temps" (Memory and time).
