Observations

This painting is entitled "Réminiscence archéologique de l´"Angéuls de Millet" for we believe it corresponds to the work Dalí presented at the exhibition held at the Jacques Bonjean Gallery, Paris from June 20th to July 13th 1934, number 28. For this reason, the first owner would be François Spitzer. Although this painting is considered from 1935, the iconographic elements correspond to the ones in paintings from 1934. For this reason the artwork has been moved to the 1934 period.
